The first talk kicks off at 9pm in the Mezz on "The state of Irish Music Radio - Past, Present & Future" with Paul McLoone (Today FM) and The Golden Maverick (Power FM). GETTING INVOLVED WITH EVENTS

We're always on the look out for people to help out with our events whether it's Mr Jones, MUD, POGO or live gigs. If your into promoting/organising, design, working with some of the most exciting artists from around the world, and music's something you can't live without, drop a mail to eoincregan@bodytonicmusic.com. It is voluntary but you'll learn a lot about the music biz, meet all sorts of crazy people & most of all have alotta fun.

Whats the Twist?

The Twisted Pepper venue is split into 4 main areas with spaces for live gigs, club nights, AV shows, multimedia events, reservations and small parties.

The Stage:

350+ capacity space for AV, live or DJ performances

The Basement:

250 Capacity club space with one of the most spec'd out DJ booths around.

The Cafe:

At the moment just a space for chatting and drinking, but in Summer 2009 we'll start serving food and cocktails. Also fully spec'd out for DJ performances.

The Twisted Pepper Cafe & Bar is now open Wednesday through Sunday from 4pm (free adm everyday and 'til 11pm Thurs-Sat).

The Mezz:

30-50 capacity space that overlooks the Stage room, but also features shutters to become its own private space, a giant plasma screen, full bar, and again spec'd with sound and light. Can be used as a space for reservations, small parties, chill out space, movies, talks, AV screenings or art installations.

Club Nights

Thursdays

On Thursdays nights The Twisted Pepper becomes Mr Jones' crib, honing in on all things house/electro/Bass and all those other gritty urban genres in between. Mr Jones also teams up with a number of local collectives including the Crafty Beggars gang & Spanner in the Works hosting a range of art exhibitions, screenings, plays, fashion shows and live bands.

Fridays

Fridays are MUD and all about one thing: BASS. MUD focuses on a range of Drum n Bass/Dubstep/Breaks/Baltimore/Dancehall/Hip-Hop etc over 2 floors and is hosted by a team of well established Dublin promoters & DJs on monthly rotation including Reach, OneSevenFour, !Kaboogie, Breakology, A$$quake, while the Mud residents include Nic James, Melodee, Genie & JB the Deejay. By working together with both local & carefully selected international acts we're aiming to really develop these sounds in Dublin & make MUD a consistent weekly home for bass fans.

Saturdays

Saturdays is home to Bodytonic's flagship night POGO, now into it's 4th year. POGO Club bumps the Basement with weekly residents Barry Redsetta, Eddie Brennan, Eoin Cregan, FVF Records & monthly Electric Shock parties and international guests focusing on the underground house & techno world. Our original house collective & record label Stereotonic also make up part POGO on a weekly basis with a large team of residents including Tayor, John Mahon, Mike Black & Simon Resoul (Check out http://www.bodytonicmusic.com/stereotonic for more). We also team up with the likes of Scribble, Global & Revolution pulling together all things house/soul/funk/hip-hop and disco.
