BodytonicTV: Ask DJ Derek 2
Continuing on from our series where the wisest man in the dancehall, DJ Derek, takes your questions on music, love and the illusive grooves that bind us altogether.
This week, Mark from Offaly asks, "How did you make it as a DJ and do you have any advice for a young DJ trying to get gigs?"
Derek Morris AKA DJ Derek worked in a Bristol chocolate factory for eighteen years before giving it up to become a reggae DJ. He's since travelled the world and brought good vibes to thousands of people who've been fortunate enough to hear him.
Derek is now 66 and he's seen more than most of us combined. If you have a question you'd like Derek to answer, send it to askderek@bodytonicmusic.com and we'll put it to him next time he pops in for a drink.
