BodytonicTV : Christian Prommer Interview

With the release of Drum Lesson Volume One Christian Prommer brought jazz to a different level by capturing the jazzy feel for a number of classic dance tracks. The jazz treatment of Derrick May's seminal "Strings of Life" was the original impetus for the project and was included on the album.

Prommers track selection for Volume One impressed even the cynics with Jaydee "Plastic Dreams", Isolee "Beau Mot Plage", Josh Wink "Higher States of Consciousness", Kraftwerk "Trans Europa Express", Mr. Fingers "Can you feel it" all receiving the jazz cover treatment.

Drumlesson Volume Two is already in the works, interpreting jazz classics in an electronic format with help from current German house pioneers Henrik Schwarz, Peter Kruder and others yet to be announced.

nice1 for the interview ..much appreciated to see Prommer speak a bit ..

I have not had opportunity to see them live yet (in Canada), but I would pay top dollar...so it's too bad there was 'f*ck all' at EP to see them ....
