Submerse is 23 year old (going on 13 it seems - Old-age Ed @ BT HQ) Rob Orme who splits his time between North West England and Tokyo. He’s already had a Guardian ‘new band of the day’ feature, which claimed him to be ‘Making some of the most heartbreakingly beautiful (dance) music anywhere on the planet.’ This came after just a handful of EP’s and a free download album that blend his love of J-pop and 2 step.

His debut EP for Apollo showcases how his productions have moved on in complexity and accomplishment moving between the digital hip hop of ‘8Bit Romance’ and the glitchy electronica of ‘Cluster’ to the recognizable garage mutations of ‘Give It Up’ and ‘They Always Come Back’.
